Two shadows cast

I wrote this song about the final few moments of a relationship.

Key of Dm

[Dm]Two shadows cast,
In to [F]one silhouette,
And they are [C]standing so close,
They cannot [G]see each other yet,
He [Dm]talks with his mouth,
But she [F]talks with your eyes,
And they are not [C]saying anything,
[G]Well what a surprise.

Chorus:
Because they've [Dm]torn their one soul apart,
They've put their [F]halves in separate jars,
That they keep on their [C]private little shelves,
That they don't look at [G]themselves.
And they put on a [Dm]show for the world to see,
Disney [F]versions of “he” and “she”,
And its not even [C]funny any more,
One more [G]thing to abhor.

[Dm]Two shadows cast,
In to [F]one silhouette,
One last [C]look in her eyes,
He's not [G]ready to leave yet,
She [Dm]starts to depart,
The [F]sun hides its head,
The [C]shadows are gone,
What was [G]shadowed is dead.

(Chorus)
